Hagai Zamir (Hebrew: חגי זמיר‎) is an Israeli paralympic champion.

Zamir was born in 1951 in Kibbutz Zikim and served with the IDF's Paratroopers Brigade. On January 2, 1970, during the War of Attrition. he was sent with his unit to raid the island of Shaduan. Zamir, together with two other soldiers - including Aharon Danziger - were hurt while entering the island and into a mine field.

Zamir's left leg was amputated. He was in rehabilitation for six months before returning to the Kibbutz and working in the cotton fields. He also returned to his passion of volleyball, now through the disabled team (since 1973). He was an active member of the disabled volleyball team for 30 years, taking part in seven Paralympic Games.

Zamir is a certified volleyball and tennis coach. He has been teaching in schools since 1982 and in 1992 he also became a coach of Kfar Sava's municipal team. Several of his teams won national championships.

Zamir is married and father of two. He was inducted into the International Jewish Sports Hall of Fame in 1997.[1]
