The Red Shore are a five-piece deathcore outfit from Geelong, in Victoria, Australia.

Overview

The Red Shore draw their influences from bands such as Hate Eternal, Devourment, Decapitated and Behemoth. Constant touring teamed with the release of their 2006 E.P. "Salvaging What's Left", have established the band a strong following not only in their home state, but throughout Australia and also select international recognition.

In late December 2007, while the band was on the "Christmas Carnage" tour supporting All Shall Perish, the band suffered a serious blow while travelling between Brisbane and Sydney when a tour van accident claimed the lives of both lead vocalist Damien Morris, 27 and roadie/merchandiser Andy Milner. The Red Shore is currently managed by ex-I Killed The Prom Queen/Bleeding Through guitarist Jona Weinhofen.They also supported I Killed The Prom Queen on their 2008 "Say Goodbye" Tour along with Bring Me The Horizon and The Ghost Inside.

Jamie Hope moved from bass to vocals after the death of Morris. Jon Green, formerly of Picture the End, filled in on bass for the "Say Goodbye" tour, eventually becoming the bands full time bassist.

The band is set to embark on an October UK tour supporting Bring Me The Horizon, Deez Nuts and Ignominious Incarceration. [http://i270.photobucket.com/albums/jj119/xjshorex/BMTH_Euro.jpg]
