Wallace Rice

Wallace Rice

Wallace Rice (born 1859, Hamilton, Ontario died December 15, 1939, Chicago) was an author, lecturer, and poet.

A graduate of Harvard University, he was admitted to the bar in 1884. He wrote historical pageants, including one celebrating Illinois' centennial. With Clarence Darrow, he edited the anthology "Infidels and Heretics."

In 1917, he designed the Municipal Flag of Chicago.
