Brookhaven Amphitheatre

The Brookhaven Amphitheater is located at the Bald Hill Cultural Center in Farmingville, New York, United States. Built in the late 1980s and modeled after venues such as the PNC Bank Arts Center in New Jersey, this newly renovated outdoor showground has the capacity to hold 15,000 concertgoers. Long Island's Brookhaven Amphitheater has been compared to such arenas as the Red Rocks Amphitheater in Colorado and the Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles. Located in Central Suffolk County, the Town of Brookhaven is the largest town in New York State.

Brookhaven Amphitheater does not share the same popularity as does Nikon at Jones Beach Theater also located on Long Island, however many concertgoers have praised the sight lines at the Brookhaven Amphitheater as one of the best. Another highlight of the theater is it's family friendly movie nights held on Wednesday's in July and August.

Throughout the years the theater has hosted musical acts such as James Brown, B.B. King, Pat Benatar, Alice Cooper, Cheap trick, Twisted Sister and the 2002 Metal Edge Rockfest which featured Judas Priest, Dokken, Warrant, RATT, Firehouse and LA Guns.
