Schenectady High School is a high school located at 1445 The Plaza in Schenectady, New York, USA. Founded in 1958 as Linton High School, it became Schenectady High School when it merged with Mt. Pleasant High School (formerly Schenectady's other public high school) in 1992.

Among the programs at SHS are the Pre-International Baccalaureate Program and the CISCO program. Schenectady High has a number of schools, including the Fine Art House, the Math, Science and Technology House, the GE Scholars School of Humanities and Culture, and the Global Commerce House.

The missions statement of the school is "to provide a quality education for a lifetime of learning."

*Billy Connors - pitcher/pitching coach for New York Yankees and other teams, Class of 1959
*Barry Kramer -played in the NBA for the San Francisco Warriors New York Knicks and later in the ABA for the New York Nets, Linton Class of 1960
*Pat Riley - University of Kentucky and NBA basketball player and later NBA championship coach, Linton Class of 1963
*Julia L. Hurwitz - Accomplished immunology researcher, Class of 1963
*James Thomas -College Basketball Player at University of Texas, former NBA player and currently playing professionally in Italy. (Later attended and graduated from Hargrave Academy in Chatham, VA).
