History
Niskayuna High School was founded in 1954.
Niskayuna High School is to receive $53.2 million to undergo repairs and updates including 8 new classrooms and a new media center set to be completed in 2010. As of February 2011, this construction project was not completed.
Academics
In 2006, Niskayuna High School was rated as one of "America's Best High Schools" by Newsweek magazine, with an index (total Advanced Placement Exams taken in 2005 divided by total number of graduating seniors) of 1.340.[2] Niskayuna High School was a National Blue Ribbon School of Excellence in 1983.
For the Class of 2005, 94% of all graduating seniors attended college.[3]
