Kim Hyun Joong (Korean: 김현중, born June 6, 1986) is a South Korean male singer and leader of boyband SS501.

Career

He and his SS501 members appeared in Park Kyung Lim's show "Thank You For Waking Us Up" and "Thank You For Raising Us" in 2006, where he proved to be a heavy sleeper. Currently, he is part of MBC's reality show "We Got Married". He is paired up with Hwang Bo, who is 6 years his senior.

Hyun Joong has recently established a solo singing career and released his first digital single on July 4th 2008, titled "Thank You".
