Pam Krueger

Pam Krueger is creator, co-host and executive producer of "MoneyTrack", a half-hour show about personal finance and investing that airs on PBS television stations nationwide.

Prior to "MoneyTrack", Krueger worked as a stockbroker in the Bay Area for nine years, trying to simplify the world of investing for her clients. She was struck by how they all had the same questions and realized how many people needed a basic education in Investing 101. Rather than selling it through a brokerage service, Krueger decided to educate consumers through the media.

Krueger made her broadcast debut producing and anchoring segments on Bay Area television networks, including ABC-TV’s "Marketplace", TechTV’s "The Money Machine", and the PBS series "Money Moves". Her next move was to conceptualize and produce a one-hour show for "NETworth: Use The Net, Increase Your Worth" that aired on PBS stations nationwide. To address financial literacy for youth, Krueger produced "IPO: Investing Pays Off", a children’s financial series that earned a CINE award and Emmy nomination in 2004.

Taking the next step, Krueger decided to create a national public television series to educate and protect everyday investors. The result, "MoneyTrack", launched in 2005 and now airs on more than 180 PBS stations. The second season of "MoneyTrack" is now airing nationwide, and the third season is currently in production. Pam, along with co-host Jack Gallagher and unofficial co-host Chloe, Krueger's Labradoodle, gets up close and personal with real people who have real money issues. Retirement planning, strategies for investing with small amounts of money, and scam alerts are topics covered in the program. Renowned financial experts like Warren Buffett and John Bogle have appeared on the series, giving straightforward advice to viewers so it all makes sense.

Krueger also emcees live seminars, showcasing real stories from the episodes, in several states. Her first book, "The MoneyTrack Method: The Real Person's Guide to Successful Investing", will be published by Wiley in October 2008.

Krueger also serves on the Board of Directors of the California Jump$tart Coalition.

Krueger hails from the Cape Cod town of Osterville, Massachusetts, and currently lives in Tiburon, California.
