nihongo|"Beast Master"|ビーストマスタ is an shōjo romantic comedy manga by "Kyousuke Motomi". It is published in Japan by Shogakukan in "Betsucomi" and is collected in 2 tankobon volumes. It is not yet licensed in North America. This series is about an animal lover and a childish kid, who has problem adapting because everyone considered him a beast.

Plot

Yuiko Kubozuka is a high school girl who loves animals. Unfortunately, animals hate her and flee from her whenever possible. One night, an odd, animal-beast boy appear in front of her and saves her cat but ran away before she had the chance to thank him; nonetheless, the next day a transfer student, Leo Aoi, arrives and she realized that he was the person she saw. While all her classmates are taken back by Leo's appearance, Yuiko finds him pure and naturally cute. As she get to know him better, she finds out the secrets behind him.

Characters

Yuiko Kubozuka: A 17-year-old girl who loves animals even though they hate her. She is kind of easy going. One day she meets Leo Aoi, an almost immediately they developed a close relationship. She accepts Leo's secret and became the only person able to tame him. In school she is known as the beast master.

Leo Aoi:A 17 going to 18-year-old boy whose eyes looks resembles those in the beasts; However, despite his look, he is cute and childish. He cares deeply for Yuiko as she is his first friend. When Leo sees blood his outer ego emerge, that's why he begins acting as a beast. While this, Yuiko is the only person able to stop him. Leo is clueless about many things because he has been living in jungles and island through the most part of his life.

Kyle Tokizaburou Rosemburg:He is Leo's caretaker. Before that he was the secretary of Leo's grandfather. He used to be in the military, which may explain his strength.
