Pennsylvania's 71st Legislative District is based within Cambria County and includes the following areas:

*The City of Johnstown
*Conemaugh Township
*Richland Township
*Stonycreek Township
*Brownstown Borough
*Daisytown Borough
*Dale Borough
*East Conemaugh Borough
*Ferndale Borough
*Franklin Borough
*Geistown Borough
*Lorain Borough
*Southmont Borough
*Westmont Borough

Total population: 59,249

The central area of the 71st District is the City of Johnstown and includes many points of interest such as the Johnstown Inclined Plane, the Cambria County War Memorial Arena (which is home to the ECHL Johnstown Chiefs, Point Stadium and the University of Pittsburgh at Johnstown which is located in Richland Township

The 71st District has been represented by Democrat Ed Wojnaroski since 1997.
