The Guangzhou-Shenzhen-Hong Kong Express Rail Link (Chi. 廣深港高速鐵路) is a proposed express railway connecting Guang Zhou, Dong Guan, Shen Zhen of Guangdong Province and Hong Kong SAR.The total distance covered by the track is 142km and the expected travel time between Guang Zhou and Kowloon, Hong Kong is 48 minutes. The Express Rail Link (XRL) will have 4 stops as well as the two termini, West Kowloon (Hong Kong) and Shibi (Guang Zhou).The construction in Mainland, China will be paid by the Guang Dong Province local government and the Ministry of Railways of the People's Republic of China; whereas the construction cost in Hong Kong will be paid by the Hong Kong government.
