A manta-ray-like monster sent to Earth by the unseen Keel aliens. Swims at 13,000 kmph and flies at mach 2, with destructive fins. Listens for boat engines and then attacks. The monster's full title is Space Ray Bostang ("UCHUH EI BOSUTANGU").

Alien Ruperts "Zemi"

First Appearance: Episode 21, "Space Directive M4774" (May 22nd, 1966)

Height: 1.6 m / Weight: 45 kg

Zemi is an benevolent alien of the Ruperts species who's mission (Directive M4774) is to protect Earth by delivering a warning of the impending invasion by the Keel's monster, Bostang. Having accomplished her mission, Zemi decides to stay on and live as an Earthling, assuming the name of Kiyomi Ichijoh. It is never made clear if Zemi's race happens to look just like humans, or if she had taken on human guise.

Alien Keel

First Appearance: Episode 21, "Space Directive M4774" (May 22nd, 1966)A hostile alien race who loves warfare, and were the ones behind Bostang's arrival to Earth. Mentioned by Zemi, but are not actually shown, however the Keel's height and weight are said to be similar to those of humans.
