Moturu is Kapu dominated village, located near Gudivada in Krishna District. It is also called "Chinna Badrachalam" because of the famous "Lord Rama" temple located in the area. This village have the great history.

Early 70's only they have Govt. Hospital, Secondary and Primary High School, Veternity Hospital, Society, Library and Major Panchayat which reflects more than 25 villages surrounding. This credit goes to Late Ghanta Krishna Murthy Ex. MLC (Mudinepalli Constituency).

Now the population has grown nearly 10000 people.
