Located in County Longford, Ireland, Corn Hill or Cairn Hill rises to a height of 278 metres above sea level and as such is the highest point in the county. On a clear day, vantage points in 9 surrounding counties can be identified from the summit of Corn Hill.

Upon the Hill are two cairns which could possibly be passage tombs. The bigger tomb is located at the very summit and atop this cairn is a trigonometrical station. In 1910 it was opened, but 50 years later it was destroyed by this station.

Cremated remains were discovered within a chamber within the cairn. Approximately 18 metres in diameter and three metres high, a legend surrounds this cairn. At the summit of Sliabh Uillen lies the burial place of the assassin of Queen Maeve, Furbuidhe.

Another more general legend is that of Cailleach a Bheara or ancient Hag/Witch who dropped stones out of her apron as she flew over the mountain. This legend also stands for many passage tomb sites, such as Carrowmore, Co Sligo and Carrowkeel, Co Sligo.
