The Small Mountain Ringlet (Erebia epiphron) is a butterfly of the Nymphalidae family. It is Great Briatin's only true alpine species of butterfly. It lives in mat grass near bogs and springs and is also associated with bilberry, tormentil and heath bedstraw.^[1]
