Daniela L. Rus is an American roboticist and a Professor in the Department of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, where she is director of the Distributed Robotics Lab at CSAIL, the Co-Director of the CSAIL Center for Robotics, and an Associate Director of CSAIL.
She was a recipient of the 2002 MacArthur Fellowship.
Rus received her Ph.D. at Cornell University. She was previously an assistant, associate, and professor in the Computer Science Department at Dartmouth College before moving to MIT.
