The Douli is a caste , found mainly in both Indian Administered and Pakistani administered Poonch.

Douli actually being a Mughal sub-caste use their surnames as Sardar and Khan.by muhammad din fouq in tareekh aqwaam.e.poonch he says they are migrat from iran. They are based in Tatrinote, Madarpur, Kakuta, Mehndla, Buttal Dharamsal, Sehra, Mandhole, Serrari, Darra Sher Khan (District Poonch), Punjerra, Srsawa and Goi (district Kotli) are the areas of Doulis in Azad Jammu Kashmir. While in Indian held Kashmir a major portion of Tehsil Mendhar including Darra Doulian, Chandak, Mankote, Challas, Saloutri, Tarrana, Surrankot up to rajouri and riyasi this tribe can be found.
The 1947 partition of subcontinent and subsequent division of Kashmir had dispersed this tribe. The Douli tribe suffered the most among Kashmiris due to the Line of control. Douli tribe is well educated, civilized and politically active member of Kashmiri society. Their mother tongue is pahari being living around the Peer Punjal. Poonch city was the centre of cultural and political activities of Douli Tribe before division of Kashmir
