Shuyak Island is an island in the northern part of the
Kodiak Archipelago in the state ofAlaska , USA. It is located just north ofAfognak Island , separated from it by the narrowShuyak Strait . TheStevenson Entrance toCook Inlet separates it from theBarren Islands further north in the archipelago.
