"Heroes Shed No Tears" (zh-tcy|t=英雄無淚|cy="Ying Xiong Wei Lei") is a 1986 Hong Kong action film written and directed by John Woo, produced by Peter Chan, and starring Eddy Ko. Released prior to the success of Woo's "A Better Tomorrow", the film is a story about a group of mercenaries on a mission to extract a drug lord from the Indochina area.

Release

The film exhibits some of John Woo's distinguishing marks, though he was reportedly dissatisfied with the end film and decided to shelve the project.Fact|date=August 2007 However, after the success of "A Better Tomorrow", the studio released this title and it gained moderate success under the title "Sunset Warrior".

On July 17 2006, Contender Entertainment Group released the film on DVD and it is now widely available.
