"Lookin' for a Good Time" is a single by American country music trio Lady Antebellum. It is the second single from their self-titled debut album, as well as their second Top 40 hit on the "Billboard" country charts. The song was co-written by the trio's three members (Dave Haywood, Charles Kelley, and Hillary Scott) along with Keith Follesé, and it features lead vocals from both Kelley and Scott.

Content

"Lookin' for a Good Time" is an up-tempo in which the narrators — a male and a female — explain their plans to have a one-night stand with each other, because they are "just lookin' for a good time". The radio edit replaces a line in the second verse ("Would you get the wrong impression / If I called us a cab right now" was changed to "…if I stood up and danced right now").

Reception
