Raymond Kursar was born in Aberdeen,
Washington in the 1940s. An American artist who has received great critical acclaim spanning a 40 year career in illustrative arts. Widely known for his editorial & publishing arts; his illustrations have appeared in nearly every leading magazine of our time; fromLadies Home Journal ,Good Housekeeping Magazine, Readers Digest & National Lampoon Magazine, etc.Mr. Kursar illustrated hundreds of
romance novel covers for book publishers such asBantam Books ,Ace Books ,Random House and Pocket books & Zebra Books, Avon, Fawcett, Ballantine, Doubleday, Charles Scribner & Sons, etc. Kursar illustrated posters for “Shakespeare in the Park” and the Artist created numerous Events Poster Art for Broadway Plays including “Grease”, “Hello Dolly”, “City Of Angles”, “The Good Doctor”, “That Championship Season”, and “Legend” to name a few. These wonderful posters were displayed by the Great Broadway Theaters of New York. Kursar was also commissioned to do artwork for giants in the entertainment industry, and was commissioned by special request to create album covers for classical Guitarist Andre Segovia, and The Great Jazz musician Louis Armstrong.The artist Raymond Kursar created special art pieces & posters for producer

Niles, Illinois , Chicago.Currently Kursar has presented a New Limited “Collectors’ Edition” depicting the “Gone with the Wind” movie classic. This new “Collectors’ Edition” of Giclee prints celebrates this great masterpiece of movie making history, as well as celebrating this Great American Artist.
