It origins inUdmurtia and falls to the Kama nearYelabuga ,Tatarstan .Major tributaries are Vozzhayka, Yurashka, Karinka Rivers. The maximal mineralization 400-600 mg/l. The maximal water discharge is 533 m³/s (1979). Drainage is regulated. Average sediment in mouth per year is 146 mm. Since 1978 it is protected as "natural monument of Tatarstan". [TES|Туйма]
