Frannie is a town in Big Horn and Park counties in the U.S. state of Wyoming. The population was 209 at the 2000 census.

Geography

Frannie is located at coor dms|44|58|11|N|108|37|13|W|city (44.969738, -108.620340)GR|1.

According to the United States Census Bureau, the town has a total area of 0.4 square miles (1.1 km²).None of the area is covered with water.

Demographics

As of the censusGR|2 of 2000, there were 209 people, 74 households, and 54 families residing in the town. The population density was 485.3 people per square mile (187.7/km²). There were 85 housing units at an average density of 197.4/sq mi (76.3/km²). The racial makeup of the town was 93.30% White, 1.44% Native American, 0.48% Asian, 0.96% from other races, and 3.83% from two or more races. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 4.31% of the population.

There were 74 households out of which 39.2% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 59.5% were married couples living together, 5.4% had a female householder with no husband present, and 27.0% were non-families. 21.6% of all households were made up of individuals and 9.5% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older. The average household size was 2.82 and the average family size was 3.35.

In the town the population was spread out with 33.5% under the age of 18, 8.6% from 18 to 24, 24.4% from 25 to 44, 23.0% from 45 to 64, and 10.5% who were 65 years of age or older. The median age was 33 years. For every 100 females there were 88.3 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there were 95.8 males.

The median income for a household in the town was $33,750, and the median income for a family was $37,500. Males had a median income of $29,107 versus $14,375 for females. The per capita income for the town was $14,541. About 5.8% of families and 7.1% of the population were below the poverty line, including none of those under the age of eighteen and 24.1% of those sixty five or over.
