U.S. Highway 41 . After intersecting with U.S. Highway 41, the highway turns into the Veterans Memorial Parkway and provides a direct connection to the downtown business district.A planned extension of
Interstate 69 will utilize much of the existing route of Interstate 164 and eventually create a new international trade corridor fromCanada to theRio Grande Valley .The north end of I-164 will connect with the southern Indiana portion of I-69. The new I-69 will continue across the Ohio River southward from the present I-164 on a new bridge, heading southward.
