Israelinsider, which describes itself as "Israel's Daily Newsmagazine," is an Israel-based daily online publication that provides news and commentary about Israel, including security and diplomatic issues, politics, culture, and global Jewish concerns, in particular anti-Semitism. Launched in 2001, and maintained six days a week (not updated on the Jewish Sabbath), the site has recently launched a companion site, [http://israelinsider.ning.com Israel Streams] , which features auto-updating filtered feeds and widgets from more than 100 Israel-related blogs and sites. The publication's revenue model is based primarily on reader contributions, advertising, and the licensing of Israel and Jewish history maps.

Among the several hundred Israel Insider contributors since the publication's inception are notable contemporary commentators and political figures from Israel and the Jewish Diaspora, such as Benjamin Netanyahu, Melanie Phillips, John Podhoretz, Michael Freund, Michael Oren, Allan Dershowitz, M.J. Rosenberg, Barry Rubin, Uri Avnery, Jeff Jacoby, and Aaron Lerner as well as Christian Zionism pundits like Stan Goodenough and Ryan Jones.

The magazine is suspicious of the American Presidential candidate Barack Obama and has written numerous articles scrutinising Obama and alleged contradictions in his past. They have shown a particular interest in claims that Obama is or was a Muslim, with an article in March 2008 titled "Is Barack Obama a Muslim wolf in Christian wool?"
