Jeffrey Lam Kin Fung, SBS, JP (zh-t|t=林健鋒) (born in
Hong Kong with family roots inNanhai ,Guangdong ) is a member of theLegislative Council of Hong Kong (Legco), representing the Commercial (First)functional constituency .He was long a member of the Liberal Party and in September 2008 was nominated as the party's chairman, following the resignation of
James Tien . However, the following month he resigned from the party, along withAndrew Leung andSophie Leung , saying they had not been able to communicate with the party, and were dissatisfied with its handling of the aftermath of its poor showing in the Legco election. The three, who constituted half of the party's representation in Legco, refused to rule out forming a new party together.
