Football University

Football University (FBU) is an invitation-only camp for elite-level youth and high school players. The nation’s best are invited to attend FBU. It’s an experience for serious football players, focusing on teaching technique and skill in a small-group setting with other top athletes. Modeled after an NFL mini-camp, each camp includes 14 hours of training and development—both on the field and off the field—including film study, classroom testing, and access to hi-tech equipment, while working with former NFL players and coaches.

FBU is produced by SportsLink, the creators and producers of the U.S. Army All-American Bowl [ [http://www.usarmyallamericanbowl.com/ Welcome to the 2009 U.S. Army All American Bowl ] ] . FBU was developed in 2006 to fill a need in the marketplace for a elite-level, NFL-style camp for youth and high school players.

Selection process

FBU’s network of regional directors, scouts and coaches provides the information and knowledge to select the best players. However, they may overlook or miss quality players, therefore players who think they deserve to attend the camps can nominate themselves on Football University's website.

Technology

Football University gives players access to NFL technology. Each athlete works with cutting-edge training equipment, including high definition slow-motion video at 500 frames per second. The video is reviewed and analyzed in the camp’s daily classroom sessions.

Faculty

Top Gun Showcase

FBU recently held its inaugural FBU Top Gun Showcase at the All-Star Sports Training Complex in Paisley, FL from July 18th to July 21st. FBU has also trained the sons of Joe Montana, Jim McMahon, rapper Snoop Dogg, actor Will Smith, Hall of Famer Frank Gifford, Philadelphia Eagles Offensive Coordinator Marty Mornhinweg, North Carolina Head Coach Butch Davis, and the grandson of San Diego Chargers owner Alex Spanos.
