The A4 motorway (Slovenian: "avtocesta A4") is a future motorway in Slovenia, around 33,7 km long, connecting Maribor and Gruškovje (at the Croatian border). It passes several important Slovenian cities, including Maribor and Ptuj.Construction began in 2007 and is scheduled to be completed 2009 and later in 2011.

A4 is divided into three sections:
*Slivnica (Maribor) - Draženci (Ptuj), "construction began & planned to be completed in" (2007-2009)
*Draženci (Ptuj) - Gruškovje (border crossing), "construction planned to begin & to be completed in" (2009-2011)
*Gruškovje - Croatian border, "construction began & planned to be completed in" (2007-2008)
