Sophie Leung

Sophie Leung Lau Yau Fun, GBS, JP (zh-t|t=梁劉柔芬) (born 9 October 1945 in Macau with family roots in Chaoyang, Guangdong) is a member of the Legislative Council of Hong Kong, representing the Textiles and Garment functional constituency.

Formerly a member of the Liberal Party, she resigned in October 2008, along with Jeffrey Lam and Andrew Leung, saying they had not been able to communicate with the party, and were dissatisfied with its handling of the aftermath of its poor showing in the Legco election. The three, who constituted half of the party's representation in Legco, refused to rule out forming a new party together.
