Marble Valley is a band formed by the drummer of the indie rock band Pavement, Steve West.

Marble Valley are an international collective of talented individuals moulded together by Steve West, Pavement's drummer since 'Crooked Rain, Crooked Rain', and with David Berman on the Silver Jews albums, 'Starlite Walker' & 'Tanglewood Numbers'. 'Breakthrough', is the bands 4th since 1997 and was painstakingly conceived on 5 continents, in 17 different countries whilst touring the planet during Pavement's epic reunion tour in 2010. Mostly recorded by Remko in his Amsterdam studio, the thirteen tracks on offer here resemble the bands most complete and cohesive album to date.

They have released five albums to date.
