Real Snail Mail

Real Snail Mail is the name of an art project from Bournemouth University about the nature of time in modern society. Snails are used to physically move emails at a very slow speed in RFID chips glued to their backs. The project was commissioned as part of the Tagged Exhibition in London in 2006.
