Rangamati is a district in South-eastern
Bangladesh. It is a part of the Chittagong Hill Tractsand the town of Rangamatiserves as the headquarters of the district.
Rangamati is located in the
Chittagong Division. The total area of the district is 6116.13 sq km. It is bounded by the Tripurastate of Indiaon the north, Bandarban Districton the south, MizoramState of Indiaand Chin Stateof Myanmaron the east, and Khagrachariand Chittagong Districts on the west.
In Rangamati city there are mainly 12/13 places named Vedvedi, Collagegate, Rajbari, Newmarket, Banorupa, Kathaltoli, Fishare Ghath, Rizav Bazar, lonch Ghath, Pathor Ghata, Tobolchori, Mazher Bosti, Asam Bosti.
