The Long-Allen Bridge is a swing bridge carrying US 84 across the Black River at Jonesville in Concordia Parish. This is the only point where Louisiana 84 crosses the Black River in Louisiana.
The structure is considered to be in "Poor Standing" by the Louisiana DOTD, and is being replaced by a larger superstructure. The newer structure will carry 4 lanes of traffic on U.S. 84 across the Black River. THe estimated cost of the project is $8610000.
