He was re-elected in theCanadian federal election, 2000 from the riding of Rivière-des-Mille-Îles where he was re-elected again in theCanadian federal election, 2004 . Perron is the Bloc's current critic to the Minister of Veterans Affairs, and in the past has been the critic of Public Service Renewal and National Revenue. He is a former political advisor and technician.He announced he would not run again in the
