Darxide Developer(s) Frontier Developments Publisher(s) Sega Platform(s) Sega 32X Release date(s) Genre(s) Shoot 'em up Mode(s) Single-player Darxide (sometimes spelled DarXide)(pronounced "dark side") is a shoot 'em up for the Sega 32X by Frontier Developments, released only in Europe.[1] It was also scheduled to be a launch title for the unreleased Sega Neptune. It was followed in 2004 by Darxide EMP, an expanded version released for Pocket PCs and Nokia mobile phones.[2]
One of the last games released for the 32X, Darxide is known for its rarity. It has sold for up to $1000 on the collector's market.
