After graduation from Juilliard's Drama Division, she joinedJohn Houseman 's touring repertory companyThe Acting Company , where she stayed for three years. During this time, she performed in productions of Shakespeare's "King Lear " and "Romeo and Juliet ", the classic "Antigone", and alongsideFrances Conroy in Bertolt Brecht's "Mother Courage and Her Children ".Harris went on to do extensive work on and
off-broadway including a 1989 performance atSecond Stage Theatre in "What a Man Weighs" . One of Harris's breakthrough stage performance came in the original cast of Paul Rudnick's "Jeffrey", where she was the sole female cast member. Her work in "Jeffrey" led to numerous television guest appearances, including a recurring role on the TV series "Frasier " as Frasier's conniving agentBebe Glazer .Harris had a recurring role on the hit
comedy-drama "Desperate Housewives " asFelicia Tilman . Her own series (including "The Five Mrs. Buchanans ", "Union Square", and "It's All Relative ") were unsuccessful, but her guest roles on hit series, including "Ghost Whisperer ", "Murphy Brown ", "Ally McBeal ", "Six Feet Under", and "Ellen" were memorable. Among them was her performance on "The X-Files " as Dr. Sally Kendrick and her "Eve" clones, from which the band "Eve 6 " derived its name. She has more recently starred on the new Sci Fi Channeltelevision miniseries "The Lost Room " as Margaret Milne.Harris received a
