For the next season he signed with the reigning Estonian championTallinna Kalev and won the national title in 2003. In 2004 Talts signed withBasketball Bundesliga teamKöln 99ers . He won two German Cups and one Bundesliga title. In 2006/2007 season Talts played inEuroleague for the german squad. After three seasons in Germany he signed with the reigning Estonian championTartu Rock and won his second Estonian title. He also won the money prize for the Best Defensive Player in the finals. Janar Talts is a member of theEstonia national basketball team .Honours
