Singaporean Hokkien

Singaporean Hokkien

Singaporean Hokkien is a variation of the Hokkien dialect; the difference with Hokkien spoken in Singapore is the fact that speakers borrow a number of Malay words e.g "Balu(Bahru)" in place of "Sim (新)".
