Team kit

The team kits for the 2008-09 season are produced by Adidas and the shirt sponsor is Samsung. The home kit was revealed at Chelsea's website on April 25.cite news|url=http://www.chelseafc.com/page/LatestNews/0,,10268~1297661,00.htmll|title=New home kit unveiled|accessdate=2008-08-11|date=2008-04-25|publisher=chelseafc.com] The kit was first worn in the last Premier League game of the 2007-08 season, as well as in the 2008 Champions League final. An all-black kit with white stripes is replacing the bright-yellow away kit from the 2007-08 season. On August 1 the new 3rd kit was unveiled at Chelsea's website. The kit is reminiscent of the away-kit of the 1996-98 seasons of the club.
