Greenwich Avenue is a southeast-northwest avenue in Greenwich Village, in the New York City borough of Manhattan. It extends from the intersection of 6th Avenue and 8th Street at its southeast end to its northwestern end at 8th Avenue just south of 14th Street. It is sometimes confused with the similarly-named Greenwich Street.
Transportation
The NYCS service|A, NYCS service|B, NYCS service|C, NYCS service|D, NYCS service|E, NYCS service|F, and NYCS service|V subway lines stop on 6th Avenue half a block south of Greenwich Avenue's southeastern end.
The NYCS service|1, NYCS service|2, NYCS service|3, and NYCS service|L subway lines stop on 7th Avenue one block north of Greenwich Avenue at the 14th Street station.
The NYCS service|A, NYCS service|C, NYCS service|E, and NYCS service|L subway lines stop on 8th Avenue and 14th Street half a block north of Greenwich Avenue's northwestern end.
The 9th Street PATH train station is located on 9th Street just north of Greenwich Avenue at 6th Avenue.
