Scottish League Cup 2008-09

The 2008–09 Scottish League Cup will be the 62nd staging of the Scotland's second most prestigious football knockout competition, also known for sponsorship reasons as the Co-operative Insurance Cup .

The current holders are Rangers who defeated Dundee United in the the final, winning 3–2 on penalties after the match had ended 2–2 following extra time.
