This however is subject to change as per the new timetable which comes out in December 2008.The name of the station is yet to be confirmed and in documentation is still referred to as "Chorley Buckshaw Village" however it is widely believed that the 'Chorley' reference will be dropped. It was also believed at first that the new station was to become the village of Euxton's second station, along with Euxton Balshaw Lane, however it appears the local council wish to go with the new name Buckshaw.
