Ty, Inc. has been involved in a large amount of fundraising. Some of it has been through the sale of certain Beanie Babies in which the proceeds have been donated to various causes. Pediatric AIDS

Breast cancer

The Beanie Babies Aware, Awareness, and Cure were sold to raise funds for breast cancer research and awareness.

Barbaro

A Beanie named Barbaro was created in memory of Barbaro the Horse to raise funds for the University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine, the clinic that tried to save the horse.

Caipora

Caipora was a golden lion tamarin that was introduced in October 2005 and retired in January 2007. A World Wildlife Fund exclusive, its purpose was to raise funds for saving golden lion tamarins.

ChariTee

ChariTee was made in 2004 to raise money for the PGA Tour.
