Ultras 114

Ultras 114 is a soccer (football) ultras group associated with the Canadian club side Toronto FC. The group is known for its vocal support at the club's home matches in Major League Soccer and other competitions.

History

Throughout Toronto FC's 2007 season, pockets of Toronto FC fans in section 114 grew into a unified group, designing banners, composing songs and planning tifo displays together in between games. The group consolidated into an organized ultras movement by the start of the 2008 season, with their flags and chanting a permanent fixture in section 114 at BMO Field. The group is composed of football fans from throughout section 114 and its surroundings, encompassing a range of supporters bringing their own interpretation of fan culture to the stands.

Mission statement

The group adopts typical ultras goals in its desire to promote a vocal and fan-friendly atmosphere of support for the club. The Ultras are a visible part of any Toronto FC home game, but their support has not been restricted to BMO Field, with the group supporting TFC and the Canadian national team alongside fellow supporters groups at away matches in MLS and other competitions.

Online fanzine

The Ultras operate an interactive fanzine on the internet, providing a resource for Toronto FC fans with articles, news and editorials. The website also features pictures, a fans' forum and explanations of the group's mentality and history.
