Richard Maldone

Richard Maldone is an Italian-American actor whose roles are usually confined to the Italian gangster films.

Though the characters he has played are usually small parts, his greatest claim to fame has to be landing the role of acting capo, Albert Barese in the renowned HBO cable television show, The Sopranos. His character of Albert Barese, a.k.a. "Ally-Boy", appears in episodes throughout the second to fourth seasons of the show. He is the cousin of Larry Barese, a.k.a. "Larry-Boy", a capo in the Soprano crime family (formerly the Dimeo Family). Albert takes over the "Barese Crew", as acting capo, while Larry is in prison and then later on house arrest. The second episode of season 5 is the last time Maldone appears because of the real-life legal issues Maldone becomes involved in.
