Mohammad-Reza Khalatbari (Persian: محمدرضا خلعتبری, born September 14, 1983) is an Iranian football player, he plays as striker for Al Gharrafa in Qatar Stars League.

Club career

Khalatbari began his career with Shamoushak just after being released by Esteghlal's youth academy and joined Aboumoslem in the summer of 2004. After two years with F.C. Aboomoslem, in July 2006, he signed for Zob Ahan,[1] where he played important matches and led his team to win the Hazfi Cup in June 2009.He became one of the most influential players in league and ACL in 2009-10 season. In 2009, Koln F.C attempted to acquire him, but his club team at the time and Koln could not reach an agreement. He left Zob Ahan in June 2011 and signed a contract with Al Gharrafa Qatar.

Internaional career

He plays both LM and CAM for the Iranian national team and was picked in the latest Call up for the Iranian National team on 2008 by Ali Daei. He already has played in WAFF Championship 2008, 2010 FIFA World Cup qualifying and 2011 AFC Asian Cup qualification for Team Melli.
