Laxma
Goud was born in Nizampur,Andhra Pradesh in 1940. He studied drawing and painting from the Government College of Fine Arts and Architecture,Hyderabad till 1963 and did his diploma in Mural paiting and Printmaking at M.S. University, Baroda in 1965.He also participated in several contemporary national and international exhibitions including Royal Academy of Art, London during 1982, Contempory Indian Art,Grey Art Gallery, New York during 1986,Indian Art Tomorrow, The Phillips Collection, Washington DC, and Contemporary Art of India: The Herwitz Collection, Worcester Art Museum during 1986,Wounds, Center of International Modern Art, Calcutta and National Gallery of Modern Art, New Delhi during 1993. He was an invitee for Y2k International Exhibition Of Prints, National Taiwan Arts during 2000.
He now lives and works in
Hyderabad .He is the head and teacher at Sarojini Naidu school of Performaing Art , Fine Art & Communication, University of Hyderabad.Exhibitions
