Greg Kolodziejzyk

Greg Kolodziejzyk is a Canadian cyclist who has held several world records on recumbent bicycles and pedal powered boats.

As of 2008, he holds the following records under the sanction of the International Human Powered Vehicle Association:

*Thursday, July 20th travelling 1046.94 km (650.5 miles) beating Axel Fehlau's previous record of 1021.36 km from 1995 cite web

*On June 3, 2007, Greg pedalled 173 km (108 miles) in 24 hours around a rectangular course on the Glenmore Reservoir in Calgary setting a new official Guinness (TM) world record

Past

Greg was born March 10th 1961, he went to St Leo Elementary, St James Jr High, Bishop Carroll HS in Calgary and went on to attend SAIT to get his drafting diploma. He worked doing drafting for a tiny bit before quiting his job to go solo with a couple of projects. One being the production of a community newsletter. The other being the creation of some digitally created art bits called "clipart" which he sold in packages. The company formed from this "clip art" was Image club and it had become the worlds leading publishing content software publisher and was acquired by Adobe Systems.

Present

Greg is embarking on 2 new world records. He is re-addressing the 24 hour boat record in the summer of 2008 and will be making a Ocean crossing by human power in 2009
