Plot summary

Falsely accused of a robbery at the airport, the Hardy Boys turn the tables on the real thieves by nabbing them in the act of committing another robbery.

In the original version of this story, the criminals are local Bayport hoods who team up with a former mail plane pilot in a plot to steal a large payroll. In the revised version, the investigation takes them to a tropical island and then to Montana.
