- Roderick Oliver Redman
Roderick Oliver Redman (b. 1905, d. 1975) was Professor of Astronomy at
Cambridge University . He was director of the University of Cambridge Observatories 1947- 1972. He had started his career at theDominion Astrophysical Observatory (DAO) in Victoria,British Columbia 1928-31. and was Chief Assistant at theOxford University Radcliffe Observatory outsidePretoria ,South Africa , from 1939-1947.
